Haiku #77 – #85

77.

I tried the mind of duck
But could not extinguish
The singular thought.

78.

There is no discrimination
To my mind between me,
The moorhen and coot.

79.

People appalled by the polluted stream
Have not seen the organisms
Bubbling underneath

80.

Ocherous cauldron,
My wok’s tempura
Is a basin of life.

81.

Tree-line
Cloud-line
Horizons merge and blend.

82.

In your nest of blood
For warmth with your brothers huddled,
Now at 5.00 a.m you sing.

83.

Insomnia,
A circular route with no roads
On a starless night.

84.

Absurdity of the robin
Perched on a birch, singing out it’s heart
Until it bleeds into its feathers.

85.

Dreams
Like anchors
Pulling me underneath.
